Season 2 of the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen will debut in Japan on July 6, 2023, as part of the Summer 2023 anime season. This year, there will be two new story arcs based on the manga. These will be Gojo’s Past Arc and the Shibuya Incident Arc.
At the special stage event for the show at AnimeJapan, it was announced that there would be a second season. Along with the announcement, a new caravan for season 2 has also been released, which gives fans a taste of the action they can expect.
In the trailer, we learn about Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s pasts and see them in their school uniforms. Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen could go into more detail about these two characters’ pasts, including their time as students at Jujutsu High and their role in the Shibuya Incident.
Also, the trailer offers a distinct artistic style and great cinematography with flowing motions. Goshozono Shouta, who previously served as episode director and key animator for several episodes of Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen, is in charge of the second season.
