The Code arc, which is undoubtedly the best of the series, is still going strong in both the manga and the anime.
Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. JST, episode 293 of Boruto aired, and Monday, March 20, 2023, at 12:00 a.m., chapter 79 came out. This means that fans of Boruto all over the world got twice as much out of the weekend.
Some fans were terrified by what they saw in the anime and manga, though. In the most recent chapter of the manga, everyone turned against Boruto. In the most recent episode, the young Uzumaki was killed.
If anyone was worried about how their favorite show, Boruto, would end, they can stop worrying now. The Boruto saga will go on. The anime will soon take a short break, but the manga will keep coming out every month as usual.
What is the Status of the Boruto Manga?
The Code storyline in the Boruto manga is almost done. This doesn’t mean, though, that the series is over. The end of the Code arc will only be the beginning of the much-anticipated storyline after the time jump.
So far, fans have seen Kawaki’s love for the Hokage and hatred for the Otsutsuki grow to the point where he decided to seal Naruto and Hinata in a different dimension to keep them safe.
Between then and now, he decided to kill Boruto to start getting rid of the Otsutsuki clan. The strange part of the young Uzumaki’s story is that his identity has been switched with Kawaki’s thanks to Eida’s skills.
Almost everyone in Leaf Village has turned against the young Uzumaki, and it’s likely that the rest of the shinobi world has done the same. He or she will probably need to leave the village as soon as possible.
But Kawaki and the young Uzumaki’s dislike for each other has grown, and this will lead to the face-off hinted at in the first pages of the manga.
There is still a long way to go for that, and the manga is not going to end anytime soon. So far, there has been no word that the manga will stop for a while.
